Cardrona Ski Resort

Located 75 minutes drive away from Queenstown by bus, Cardrona is a fun, family-friendly ski resort.  A good balance of beginner, intermediate and advanced runs spread over 465 hectares of skiable terrain means Cardrona – known as “Cardies” to locals – is ideal for all levels of ability. Wide, uncrowded slopes make it the perfect place to learn to ski or snowboard.

Its natural features combined with the most extensive terrain park facilities in the southern hemisphere make Cardrona one big playground. In fact, Cardrona is home to four different terrain parks and two halfpipes, including our 22ft Olympic Superpipe. 

Wind down after hitting the slopes in one of eight cafés and restaurants, including a Noodle bar, Captains Pizzeria, an our all vegan and gluten free Base Bar.
