Where to catch the bus to Queenstown ski fields

Date: 17th February 2018

Want to find the easiest way to get to the Queenstown ski fields – Coronet Peak and The Remarkables?

The best way is to find a company that collects you from a stop as close as they can get to your hotel.

Info Snow offers that!

We would give you great advice on not only ski bus services but all the local Queenstown ski fields, snow packages, ski passes and lessons, ski/snowboard equipment and clothing hire. Soaking up all the information, which is also all on our website but it is good to talk to someone who knows how it all works and can unravel the mystery that is skiing!  After chatting to us and having a think about what you want to do, make the booking online through our website.  Dead easy, payment made and you are on your way!

Info & Snow has new busses and offers hotel pickup services.  Granted that is a bus stop close by, but if looks like much of the accommodation is not geared up for busses to actually get right to the front door!  Hilly roads, narrow one way streets, crossing traffic on busy roads then out again all add time that you are better off spending skiing rather than sitting on a bus. We also help you with suggesting Queenstown accommodation in your budget and well located for the ski bus services.

A short walk to the nearest bus stop is not hard to do, but even better, if you are hiring gear – snowboards, skis and poles we offer to store it at our town centre shop overnight and load it onto the bus for you that first morning. That makes the short walk to the bus stop even easier!

You keep your boots with you as they will likely be on your feet, and cold boots from being in the storage of a bus is not the nicest thing. Yuck!  Much better warm in your apartment overnight.

Off you go to your chosen ski fields, The Remarkables or Coronet Peak, in comfort, to have an amazing day doing whatever it is you do on the mountain – skiing, snowboarding, tricks, sitting in the café drinking hot chocolate!  At the end of the day the bus is there waiting for you to bring you back down the mountain in complete comfort, free wifi on board, and return you, tired but happy, to your hotel for a relaxing bubble bath and a mulled wine.

Free wifi on board?  I hear you say.   Yes, we offer it on our ski transport busses so you can entertain yourself during the journey. You can post your Facebook updates, snapchat your mates back in Oz telling them all what an amazing time you were having on your Queenstown ski holiday!  All done by the time you got back to town and could get straight down to the serious business of apres ski!
